Lessons learned from Good Energy by Casey Means

Updated: May 30

Consistently spacing out movement throughout the day, more effectively lowers glucose spikes after meals than participating in a one-time 30 minute workout once a day. Dr. Means provides the analogy of drinking water. "If your body needs about 90 ounces of water per day for optimal function, it wouldn't make sense to chug it all in 30 minutes, and not drink the rest of the day. Sipping the 90 ounces throughout the day would obviously be much better. Same with movement."
